The New Jersey G2: T10 Amplifier & Garrard Lab 80 Turntable

The 'New Jersey' G2 is quite possibly one of the earliest G2's ever. As the G2's weren't numbered like the Project G's it is difficult to assess when it was issued. This unit was an early store demo prior to the stereo's official launch and after its use as a demo unit (in a New Jersey department store) it was purchased by one of the store employees.

The New Jersey G2 has some wonderfully unique pre-production features like aluminium lid hinges: later production models would feature acrylic hinges. The New Jersey G2 is a favoured unit in the collection.
