Extremely hard to find are the G2 extension
speakers. Introduced in 1966, they were
part of the move towards modular stereo
systems. Made of sturdy cast aluminium they
are small but heavy - weighing about 25 lbs
each. Sold separately from the G2 system one
could buy just the speaker stands and remove
the arms from the G2 and place your now
mobile G2 speakers anywhere in the room.
New, the speakers cost 90$ each with the
bases selling for 25$ each.
